Update 8/24/2018: This model has been discontinued from the Eddyline line-up. Many have asked why?! All I can say is that Eddyline has plans to address this category once again soon!
Here she is! The 2016 ICAST SHOW WINNER the C-135 (Yak Attack special edition shown here).
Stability is rock solid for standing up. Multiple positions for seat were easily adjusted and heavily reinforced: High forward, Low center, High Back, Recline and Folded back for standing. Everyone that paddles this comments on the speed and ease of acceleration. The crowd of wider fishing models out there must feel like barges compared to the C-135. I like that the deck is clean and the boat is easily slid on roof racks upside down. This makes for an easy haul and keeps the sun off deck pads and bungees.
Yak Attack’s top loading gear track makes for easy accessory installs and no need to remove the end accessories to install a center accessory. The accessory deck pads (standard on the pictured Yak Attack edition) are a must in my opinion!
I think the best features of this model are the things you don’t see. A large thermo-formed sit on top is no easy task. Eddyline has put in a lot of thought on the reinforcement of the scuppers and the hull when you open the hatches and peer inside. The seat mounting system removes all of the load stress from the boat material and will take the abuse of heavy bodies falling back into their seat. Other vendors have missed this key feature.
- This channel will be a much stronger way to support the seat than other systems on the market. 5 Positions: High (front and back), Low, Recline and Fold out of the way!
- Access hatch for rod holder installation behind the seat.
- Power Pod and storage.
- Access hatch for motor mount, rudder mount or stern maintenance/cleaning.
- This area of the stern is designed to fit common motor mounts as well as Eddyline’s rudder system.
