It has been my greatest pleasure to be part of the journey of Eddyline Kayaks for the last 26 years. I’ve been blessed to have worked with some of the most amazing people through Eddyline and it has been an honor to contribute to an innovative design and construction technique and ethos that became mainstream because the benefits are indeed plentiful.

As their sales rep, I traveled the West with pride showing the crew’s workmanship to paddlers. Being part of a team that tried to improve upon every bit of feedback that paddlers and dealers shared over the years is what every rep hopes for and that was certainly the case for many years.

Thanks to all the dealers and paddlers around the West that have given me a chance to be part of your paddling dreams with Eddyline. I’m excited to be part of new adventures in paddling that push the envelope of quality and paddler-care to the next level. I find myself thinking of my “favorite days” with Eddyline and using that as a guiding star for the next project.

Like any paddling journey, it is the time spent covering the miles that we seek and remember. Not the destination.

Today’s “take-out” is less than ideal but I’m proud of the strokes and lessons along the way and would like to think I may have dialed in the gear and skills for even more exciting and rewarding adventures ahead.
